History:

Established in 1873 in Hampden in Baltimore City, St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School serves children of all faiths and socio-economic backgrounds in grades Pre-K through eighth.  Our mission comes from the 1986 Constitution of the School Sisters of Notre Dame which states:  “Education means enabling persons to reach the fullness of their potential as individuals created in God’s image and assisting them to direct their gifts toward building the earth.”  St. Thomas Aquinas School and faculty are dedicated to recognizing the God-given uniqueness of every child, instilling in all children Christian values and teachings, promoting positive social interaction, and encouraging students to lead a life of prayer, compassion and service to others.

 

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School offers a developmentally appropriate curriculum within a nurturing, family-oriented environment that promotes the spiritual, academic, social, and physical growth of each student.  Our program includes teaching Catholic Doctrine, instilling moral values, and promoting self-discipline that are important in preparing our students to accept, live, and spread the good news of the Gospel.  By accepting this mission, we are preparing our students to be strong Christians and good citizens who will be able to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century!

SPORTS BANQUET

All players from the Wildcats Fall 2012 Outdoor Soccer Season (the beginning of this school year)

are invited to the Sports Banquet on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 6pm at St. Thomas Aquinas School.

Players and their parents/guardian may come enjoy dinner. All players will receive medals for their participation.
